sketched in memory

This blog is a reflection of my passion for children's portraiture and the ability to capture a moment in time using nothing more than pencil and paper.

About Me

My photo
holly stokes
Queensland, Australia
I've been interested in art since I was old enough to hold a paint brush and started drawing portraits officially at the age of 13. This blog is a reflection of some of my work, particularly my passion for portraits of children. I do commissioned work and prefer to work in graphite or lead. My inspirations are Robert Hannaford, Jan Nelson and Norman Rockwell.
